  7. Vermont Microsystems has built its reputation on Display List Processing (DLP)
  8. technology. The Cobra Series carries on this tradition with a family of
  9. products: COBRA PLUS for ISA platform
  10.  
  11. This low cost, high performance graphics processor supports 1024 x 768 x 8
  12. resolution and 256 colors from a palette of up to 16.7 million, for AT
  13. compatible systems. An optional 4-bit-plane, 16 color version is available.
  14. Additional features include a screen flood rate of 25 million pixels per
  15. second, polygon fill rate of 2 million pixels per second, and a vector draw
  16. rate of 1.4 million pixels per second. Recognizing that a high-performance
  17. graphics workstation is rarely used for color graphics alone, this board
  18. includes VGA pass-through combined with a VMI VGA board or other compatible
  19. VGAs. Cobra Plus is a one and one half board solution, providing full 8514 AI,
  20. VGA, EGA, CGA, MDA, and HGA compatibility
  21.  
  22. The Cobra Plus makes efficient use of RAM already contained in the computer
  23. system, negating the need and expense of on card memory for display list
  24. capability. Display list processing driver support includes AutoCAD,
  25. Computervision, and others. Enhanced driver support is included for MICRO
  26. CADAM, VersaCAD, CADKEY, and hundreds of other applications.
